Examination Guidelines

The examination guidelines at Subhwanti Group of Institutions (SGI) evaluate students:

  • Academic performance
  • Critical understanding
  • Practical application of knowledge

All examinations at the institute are conducted based on institutional and regulatory norms to maintain academic integrity, fairness, and transparency. Detailed guidelines are followed strictly by students, faculties, and staff throughout the examination process.

Types of Examinations

  • Internal Assessments are conducted periodically to evaluate continuous learning through class tests, assignments, and presentations.
  • Mid-term examinations happen midway through the semester to analyze and evaluate students' understanding.
  • Practical examinations are laboratory-based evaluations for technical and skill-based courses.
  • Final/End-Semester Examinations are comprehensive evaluations that take place at the end of each academic term.
  • Viva Voce and Project Evaluations for research-based and hands-on subjects are conducted across programs.

Important Instructions for Students

1.Students must carry their Admit Card and valid ID Card during all the examinations.
2.Students have to reach the campus at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
3.Students should carry the necessary stationery with them. Borrowing any item during the exam time is prohibited.
4.Carrying any electronic device (Mobile phones, smart watches, or any electronic gadgets) to the examination hall is strictly not allowed.
5.Students should appear in a proper, discipline-approved dress code.

Code of Conduct

  • Cheating / Tampering is strictly prohibited.
  • Cancellation of paper or suspension to students engaging in unfair practices.
  • All Students are advised to maintain strict silence in the examination hall.
  • All students will adhere to instructions given by the invigilators and examination staff.

Evaluation and Results

  • University norms are followed to evaluate the answer sheets.
  • Marks are uploaded to the official student portal.
  • Re-evaluation or rechecking takes place as per affiliated university norms.
  • Performance in internal assessments is also evaluated in the final grading process.

Special Provisions

  • Any student with medical or genuine emergencies must inform the examination coordinator on a prior basis.
  • Exams may be rearranged following valid documentation and administrative approval.
